Lisa Manley  is Viking's Skating Director and has been a member of Viking’s Professional Staff for 15 years.  Lisa began skating in 1972.  She was a member of both USFSA and ISIA.  During her competitive career, she competed in numerous competitions throughout the New England area in Figures, Freestyle and also Synchronized (Precision) Team Skating and performed in numerous shows.  She started teaching at Viking in 1997 and in 2000 she became the Club’s Show Director and this year will be directing her 10th annual show for Viking.  In 2008, Lisa became the Director of Skating at Viking.  Lisa is a Professional Member of ISI, is an ISI Gold Certified Judge, a Certified Synchronized Skating Judge and is a member of the Professional Skaters Association.  In addition to her skating career, she is also a Paralegal at a North Shore Law Firm.

 

Colette Loux returned to Viking’s Professional Staff in 2008 after a brief absence and has been teaching professionally for 14 years.  Colette began skating at the age of 5 and grew up skating at Viking.  During her competitive career, Colette was a member of both USFS and ISI, but decided to focus her professional career in ISI.  She has had the pleasure of attending many local ISI competitions as both a coach and judge and had many students including a Synchronized Skating Team Place at the ISI Worlds Competition.  Colette is a Professional Member of ISI, is an ISI Gold Certified Judge and a Certified Synchronized Skating Judge.  Colette is a graduate of Salem State College where she graduated with a degree in Art/Photography & Advertising.

 

Shayna Richman has been a member of Viking’s Professional Staff for 5 years.  Shayna has been skating for over 15 years.  Shayna is a Senior level skater.  She has passed her Senior level in the USFSA program, all Moves in the Field tests through Senior level and in 2007 passed her Senior Freestyle Test. She has competed in numerous competitions throughout the New England area and performed in numerous shows.  Shayna is currently a freshman at Boston University and a member of the Boston University Figure Skating Team and currently competes collegiately.

 

Diana Gallo has been a member of Viking’s Professional Staff for 5 years.  Diana began skating at the age of 6 and grew up skating at Viking.  Diana skated throughout high school and at Bridgewater State College where she graduated with a degree in English. She finished at the Freestyle 8 level in ISI and the Junior Freestyle level in USFSA.  Diana competed at numerous ISI and USFSA competitions during her competitive skating career and performed in numerous shows.

Mandy Forcier enters her 3rd season fulltime of the professional staff while teaching at various times for the previous 5 years.  Mandy has been skating for 17 years and has been a member of Viking for 12 years.  Mandy competed at numerous ISI competitions during her competitive career and performed in numerous shows.  While in high school, Mandy was the captain of the Beverly High School Figure Skating Team.  Mandy attended the University of Connecticut and received a degree in Healthcare Management.  While at UConn, she was the Vice President of the UConn Figure Skating Club and acted as a substitute coach at Viking during winter and spring breaks. 

Jessie Forcier has been a member of Viking’s professional staff for 4 years.  Jessie has been a member of Viking since age 6.  She is an ISI Freestyle 7 skater and has participated at numerous ISI competitions during her competitive career and performed in numerous shows.  While in high school, Jessie was a member of the Beverly High School Figure Skating Team with which she also competed.  Jessie is now a senior at Salem State College majoring in Business Administration.
